Hi Gang. It’s an unexpected pleasure to be inviting you to Noughty
Nineties this week, but then the world is often full of surprises.
Following Darren’s excellent cover for me last week I was expecting
studies and illness to leave me unable to present again, but then my
course got cancelled and my cold warmed up, so I’m ready and raring to
hang with you for two hours of the hottest music and conversation. My
week has not only been full of unplanned changes but also realisations
of a previously undiscovered musical comeback or two, and I’d love
your memories of songs or artists who have come back from the
metaphorical dead in recent times.
Other surprising things that have sprung up around me this week have
been carefully cultivated for years in my hoarding hampers (which
means anywhere in the house I could possibly hide something). So, I’d
love to know the things that you’ve hoarded or held onto for the
longest time and any experiences you’ve had of giving up treasured (or
possibly just collected) possessions.
