Hi guys, Dean here!!
Well, Spring has sprung and so far its looking quite good!!
I hope you can join me this Friday and every Friday throughout the Spring and Summer as we embark on an alphabetical adventure through mine and yours’ record collections…
I don’t know about you but when Spring and Summer hits and hopefully the Sun is shining I love listening to my favourite music…And that usually means going back to the Singles, LPs, Tape Cassettes (Even the songs I recorded off the radio…ssshhh) and compilation albums I had back in the 1970s and 80s, plus remembering listening to my parents and grandparents records when I was a child…
As I stopped buying Vinyl records in 1990 and Tape Cassettes in 1991 you won’t hear anything after 1990 but occasionally we’ll stray into 1991…
We’ll start our journey with the letter A, thats any band, group or artist (Artists in my collection were sorted alphabetically by 1st name e.g. Alison Moyet = A) I and you had in your collection starting with that letter. So, as I go through my collection I would love to go through yours too…
To let me know what you had in your collection, just say hello during the show or have a chat about childhood memories simply;

If you’re under 27 and didn’t have a vinyl or cassette collection I’d still love to hear from you to hear what your parents or grandparents had in their collections.
Plus all that I’ll also have some great childhood memories from the 70s and 80s along with launching our 80s Film Club, where we pick an 80s film each week to watch and chat about it the following week.
So, grab a drink and lets sit round the record player and listen to some great tunes this Friday at 11am UK / 6am US Eastern LIVE across the Net Radio Group via www.treehouseradio.com www.the-phoenix.net or your favourite radio app or even goto the Appstore or Googleplay and search and download Treehouse Radio’s FREE app.
Cheers
Dean
