Hi to all!
As announced earlier today, we’ll be launching a brand new station at 10am UK time on 10 October 2018 to coincide with Treehouse Radio’s 4th birthday.
The station is called Retro Roots and will be dedicated to the 70s, 80s and 90s.
So when you just want something playing in the background with no distractions, you can simply switch from Treehouse Radio to Retro Roots with next to no effort!
From midnight tonight, we’ll be running a 24 hour a day test stream until midnight Friday, 7th September.
It’ll still sound like Treehouse Radio as it’ll contain Treehouse and Net Radio Group promos and Treehouse Radio jingles and idents, but these will be replaced when the station is officially launched.
While testing is going on, the stream will only be available through the Treehouse Radio app, so if you don’t have it yet, go grab it from whichever app store you use.
When you’re on the “Now Playing” page, double tap the button at the bottom right hand corner and you’ll be able to choose which stream to listen to, Treehouse or Retro Roots.
We wish to strengthen our commitment to providing choice and variety and we hope you feel as we do that this is a great addition to Treehouse specifically, and Net Radio Group as a whole.
Please do give it a listen over the next week and let us know what you think.
Obviously when the station is launched on 10 october, we’ll have specific genres running at certain times like Retro Rock, Classic Country, Love songs etc, but for now it’ll just be a mix for you to get a feel for the sound.
